What a Saturday!! Saturday, May 12th 2207, will be remembered at Bishop's Waltham Dynamos for a very long time.

Firstly, I was informed that the Under 14 B squad, managed by Jonathan Williams, had won their last league game to become the Testway League Champions at their age group.

Then I was informed that, following their victory that morning, Gary Musket's Under 13 A squad had retained their Testway Championship Title.

Newsflash
Charter Club for 2007 I received a letter from Hants FA yesterday informing me that:

We are delighted to let you know that we have selected Bishop's Waltham Dynamos Youth FC as the Charter Standard Club for Hampshire 2007.

Thank you for all your efforts enabling us to win this recognition.

Well done to us all.

OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE FROM THE TEAM.

Clarenden and Tidworths' vists always seem to bring out the best in us and today was certainly no exception. From the very start of the game right through until the final whistle we never stopped trying and did everything we could to win the game.

Under 10\'s RED
Fordingbridge Town v BWD Cup Final

Not surprisingly, both teams started the game a little on edge but Dynamos seemed to settle the quicker of the two and soon had Fordingbridge on the back foot.  However, atrocious weather combined with a large and heavy pitch made playing conditions very difficult and Dynamos struggled to find their usual free-flowing game.

With the majority of the first half played in the middle third of the pitch, there were very few clear cut opportunities.  Just when it seemed the game was destined for 0-0 at half time, Dynamos got the break that their hard work and greater share of possession deserved.  Marcus Hughes pounced on a lose ball on the edge of the Fordingbridge penalty area and struck a firm shot that rebounded off the goalkeeper.  As he has done on many occasions this season, Harry Weeks was on hand to force the ball home and maintain his record of having scored in every round of the cup.  Fordingbridge began the second half with more purpose as they set out in pursuit of the equaliser.

The Dynamos back-line remained solid and were looking very comfortable until mid-way through the half when a long punt up field skidded through awkwardly to Charlie Weeks who could only parry a very slippy ball to one side.
